We have recently invested in Bluetooth devises for out Mobile staff to access out network & mail system - great all Win2k users have no problem, however recently we boight 3 new laptops with WinXP Pro. MS Bluetooth transceiver just doesn't work with phone...why?
This CSR bluetooth module is using UART to communicate (CTS, RTS, TXD, RXD signal line). According to the CE.NET help file, Windows CE.NET 4.2 is shipped with a bluetooth stack. It provides bluetooth drivers as well as a number of sample programs. My problem here is, I am not so sure how to get started with it.

Anyone got hold of Microsoft Bluetooth drivers yet?

2096 will look at the Bluetooth drivers and if it has a newer version, it will replace it. Alot of the people running BT Belkin devices have problems with this and have to roll back the drivers. Also some of the BT Headphone/Mic's it did the same. Most of my BT items were OK with the new drivers.

I have yet to see any Bluetooth "driver" expire in XP. You need to have a PC with a Bluetooth adapter (on motherboard, additional add-in adapter or USB) so a driver can "stay" in Device Manager. John if you are running the 3970 PPC 2002, with the standard Bluetooth drivers I do not think you can do what you want to. By upgrading the Bluetooth drivers you could get a "Bluetooth PAN User Driver" With this driver you can do what you want to, without it, I do not think you can. I haven't tried it with the MSI
